Our vision is to create an environment where Jesus is transforming lives, families are flourishing, and our city is healthy. These are the core values that will create an environment for this vision to be a reality.
We are a community that REVERENTLY and PASSIONATELY pursues Jesus empowered by the Holy Spirit. Trusting scripture as our compass, singing and art as our celebration of God, and prayer as a posture of listening and relating to Jesus. Matthew 22:37, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 12:28-29. Psalm 100.
We are BETTER TOGETHER. God has given each woman and man a unique and significant gift to contribute to the betterment of all. We will strive to empower all to use their gifts effectively. Inspiring women and men to fulfill their God given purpose. Ecclesiastes 4:12, 1 Corinthians 12:27, Hebrews 10:24, Romans 12:3-8.
We are a FUN community. We will laugh and play hard. We believe life in God’s Kingdom is JOYFUL, so we like to have fun because a cheerful disposition is good for your health; gloom and doom leave you bone-tired. Proverbs 17:22. 1 Thessalonians 5:16
We are for the FLOURISHING of families. We will pursue God’s design for a flourishing life, creating an environment to facilitate healthy biological and spiritual families. We believe godly marriages lead to flourishing families and healthy communities. Genesis 1:28, Psalms 115:14, Ephesians 5:21, Ephesians 6:1-4.
We are about RAISING and MULTIPLYING leaders. Our church will be as strong as the leaders we raise and develop to accomplish the great commission and the great commandment, with an emphasis on disciple making and church multiplication locally and globally. Helping people go from lost to leading. Matthew 28:19, John 15:1-17, Matthew 9:37-38.
We are FOR our CITY. When the city is doing well, we all benefit. We will therefore partner with the city government, other churches and organizations for the well-being of the city. God loves cities. We will be the agents of hope in Fullerton and beyond. Isaiah 58:10-11, Jeremiah 29:4-7, Micah 6:8, Matthew 25:35-36, Proverbs 11:11.
We will live HONORABLY and GENEROUSLY. In Jesus’ Kingdom the more we release, share, empower others with life, resources, talent, information, relationship or any capital we possess, the greater the impact we have in this life and the one to come. We will serve one another with humility and honor. Romans 12:10, 2 Corinthians 9:7-8, Colossians 3:17. Proverbs 3:9.
